Gifted Identificaton has a specfic set of procedures to follow. If your child is found to be 'not gifted', please review your
situation closely. The district only recommends, they do not decide.
Gifted Identificaiton needs to be throrough. The GWR must describe both the extent of the giftedness and the child's grade
level achievements. Simply using the results of testing to decide on 'entrance' to a district Gifted program is not
enough.
